The long building with a thatched roof, red fa\u00e7ades and green doors is rendered in a simple and recognisable form.<\/p>\n<p>The motif highlights the characteristic features of the island\u2019s traditional architecture. The many small windows, the centrally placed entrance and the low shrubs in front of the house create a calm and balanced composition. The colour palette moves between warm red tones, deep green shades and the dark thatched roof.<\/p>\n<p>The embroidery is stitched with Danish Flower Thread, which provides clear colours and a distinct stitch structure. Darker outlines emphasise the building\u2019s shapes and architectural details.<\/p>\n<p>The design was developed for Haandarbejdets Fremme and is embroidered on Linen 10B from Haandarbejdets Fremme. The fabric\u2019s structure allows for precise embroidery where the cross stitches appear clear and well defined.<\/p>\n<p>This embroidery functions as a small wall piece featuring a motif from Danish culture and building tradition.
