"Blå høns" (Blue Hens) – table runner – Else Thordur Hansen (ETH) is a decorative embroidery featuring a simple and graphic motif. Two hens face each other at the lower part of the runner, rendered in clear blue tones with colourful patterns in their wings.

The motif is composed with a calm and symmetrical arrangement. The two hens form the central focus, while a simple embroidered border along the edge frames the runner. Small cross motifs within the border create rhythm and give the embroidery a light ornamental character.

The embroidery is stitched with Danish Flower Thread, which provides clear colours and a distinct stitch structure. The blue tones of the hens are combined with green, yellow and red details that highlight the wing patterns and bring life to the motif.
