Tree with Birds - wall hanging - Ida Winckler (IW) is an embroidery kit for a small wall hanging with a simple yet distinctive motif. A dark tree spreads its branches across several horizontal levels, while small golden birds are positioned among the branches.

A tree built up in three levels

The light-coloured birds stand out clearly against the dark tree. This creates a strong contrast and makes the birds the main colour accent of the motif.
Some sit in pairs, while others are positioned more freely. Their placement creates rhythm throughout the motif and gives the impression of a tree filled with life.
Between the birds are small red Christmas baubles hanging from the branches. They add an extra touch of colour and break up the combination of dark, golden and light tones.
