Tulip 02 is a coffee placemat with a finely balanced expression, where the motif is reduced to a few precisely placed elements. A gently opening tulip and a bud appear almost floating against the light linen ground, giving the placemat a quiet and elegant character.
The composition is defined by the large area deliberately left without embroidery. This gives the motif space to breathe and allows the texture of the fabric to come clearly forward.
