"Valmuer" (Poppies) – cushion – Agnete Velter (AV) is a bold and colourful embroidery featuring large poppy flowers covering the entire surface of the cushion. The flowers appear in strong red and pink tones that stand out clearly against the green background.

At the centre of the cushion a large poppy is placed within a square field with a darker ground. Around this central area the flowers continue in a repeated pattern, creating rhythm and movement across the design.

The colours are clear and strongly contrasted. The red and pink blossoms are emphasised by the green background, while the darker central field adds depth and visually gathers the composition.

The embroidery is worked with Original Wool from Haandarbejdets Fremme on stramaj. The wool yarn creates a full and textured surface and highlights the forms and colours of the motif in a distinctive way.

The design was developed for Haandarbejdets Fremme and works well as a decorative cushion in both modern and classic interiors. The combination of strong colours and clear shapes creates a striking embroidery.
