Julepynt 2024 (Christmas Ornaments 2024) is an embroidery kit that brings together three well-known Christmas symbols in a simple and harmonious expression. The motifs – an angel, a woven Christmas heart, and a small Christmas pig – are each deeply rooted in Nordic Christmas tradition and together create a story of warmth, togetherness, and handmade heritage.

The design is created in collaboration between Ida Winckler and Emma Hazel, both known for their confident sense of form, colour, and classic embroidery. The motifs are calm and easy to read, and the colour choices support a timeless look that fits naturally into the world of Christmas.

Manageable projects for December

Each ornament measures 8 × 8 cm and is intended as a small, manageable project. This makes the kit ideal for December, when time is often divided into shorter, cosy moments. You can easily pick up the work, put it down again, and gradually watch the motifs take shape.

The finished ornaments can be used in many ways. They are perfect for the Christmas tree, but can also be hung on branches, in windows, or used as a personal, handmade detail on Christmas gifts. Year after year, the ornaments can be brought out again and become part of the family’s Christmas traditions.

Carefully selected materials and clear instructions

The embroidery is worked with Danish Flower Thread on Haandarbejdets Fremme (HF) linen 10N. This combination produces a beautiful and durable result with a fine stitch texture. The materials are chosen with a focus on quality and an enjoyable stitching experience, ensuring that both beginners and more experienced embroiderers will have a good result.

The kit includes a clear chart and thorough instructions that guide you step by step through the process. This makes it easy to get started and provides confidence throughout the embroidery.
