P1:1 - bag - by renée is a decorative cross-stitch embroidery kit, designed by Swedish designer Renée Rudebrant. The black-and-white motif consists of a series of graphic spirals that together create a lively pattern with clear contrast and a simple Nordic expression. The finished bag measures 20 × 30 cm and can be used for storing embroidery accessories, yarn or smaller needlework projects.

The spiral is the recurring form in the design. Although the motifs may look similar at first glance, each spiral has small variations in its lines and structure. This gives the finished surface rhythm and movement without making the expression feel restless. The combination of black yarn, light linen and the black fabric base makes the bag striking and timeless at the same time.

Cross stitch with Appleton wool yarn

The motif is embroidered in cross stitch with black Appleton wool yarn. The wool yarn gives the stitches a full and slightly lively surface, highlighting the contrast between the black embroidery and the light fabric.

The embroidery is stitched on Haandarbejdets Fremme linen 10B. The closely woven linen gives a beautiful and even result and suits the graphic pattern well. The embroidery becomes a clear part of the bag’s expression, while still preserving the texture that characterises hand-stitched cross stitch.

The P1:1 bag embroidery kit contains the materials you need for both embroidery and finishing. You receive linen, Appleton wool yarn, needle, instructions and finishing materials. The black fabric base creates a clear finish to the design, while the drawstring closure makes the bag practical to use.
